This is post will be part of my general health articles. Even though the blogs main focus will be on hemorrhoids treatment & information, I felt as though I wanted to make a few articles about general health and give some advice on that as well.
So in this article I want to stress The Importance Of Water and why it is important for over all well being.

Why Do I Need To Drink Water For Good Health?
Well, first lets start off with the fact that you will not be able to survive without water. All living things need water. Us the animals and the plants. We all need water, a human being can only survive several days with out water.
The Blood And The Heart
Your blood will get thicker with out water making it tougher on your heart to pump the blood. So you will have a much happier heart when you stay hydrated and drink plenty of water.
Body Functions
Your body needs water to perform all the tasks it performs. With out water your body will simply not be able to function.
Drink Plenty of Water But Not Too Much
This might come as a surprise to you but you can actually die from drinking too much water. Now don't get too scared you will need to drink lots lots and I mean lots of water in a short period of time to die from it.
What happens if you drink too much water too quickly is it will delude the sodium and potassium and other good stuff. You can think of it as drowning yourself.
It is rare but it can happen in extreme cases. Like lets say if a person just worked out for 4-5 hours and came back home and drank like 2 gallons of water very quickly. Then they would really be putting themselves in danger.
How Much To Drink?
Most people follow the 8 glasses per day (8 ounce glasses) advice. And I would agree. But you also have to look at your weight. If you weigh more then you will have to drink more fluids then lets say a smaller person. I personally drink have my body weight in Ounces.
